MARK CRANDALL
Mark Crandall is a Senior Director and the President of Point North Consulting in Orlando, FL.  He has more than fifteen years of experience with business process improvement and information management.  Mr. Crandall has a proven track record gathering and analyzing requirements, translating requirements into efficient design implementation projects, and managing the initiatives through the development life cycle to achieve streamlined business processes.

As the principal of Point North Consulting, Mr. Crandall is able to utilize his interpersonal and leadership skills to introduce effective methodology to current business processes, gaining the respect of senior management and subordinates alike to help ease the transition to more efficient courses of action. Through the company’s use of innovative ideas and sound business analysis, Point North, under his direction, is able to translate the needs of the client into actionable business plans that translate into increased efficiency and profitability.

Before forming Point North Consulting, Mr. Crandall was the CEO/Owner of Crandall Technologies, a consulting firm in Gainesville, FL (1996-2000), serving small to medium sized businesses with focus on Business Process Re-engineering, Technical Architecture, Data Mining, and Business Intelligence.   

Mr. Crandall then joined Breakaway Solutions, a Full Service Provider, as a Management Consultant (1999-2000).  In this position, Mr. Crandall was responsible for leading technical teams and engaging clients in the development of strategy and the gathering of requirements.  During his tenure with Breakaway, Mr. Crandall’s engagements included Technical Lead/Project Manager at Credit Suisse, leading a team of business analysts to understand and document the complex and manually-applied business rules that govern eligibility for named and numbered bank accounts. 

Mr. Crandall was then offered the position of Director of Consulting Services with a firm in Denver, CO.  At smart!soluxions, Mr. Crandall was responsible for managing smart!soluxions’ consulting arm, develop­ing business opportunities, new strategic business partner alliances, and investi­gating potential new practice areas for smart!soluxions’ business. By bringing his depth of experience in business process re-engineering to bear on future challenges, Crandall and Point North’s mission is to ensure that the practice under examination will be framed with the knowledge of what is necessary to successfully automate and streamline a process.

Mr. Crandall was educated at the University of Florida, studying Materials Science Engineering and Business Administration as an undergraduate.  After completing the University of Florida’s Masters Program in Decision and Information Sciences (DIS), Mr. Crandall was invited to participate in the selective Ph.D. program in DIS.  He completed the coursework for the degree, but opted to enter the business sector to consult small and medium-sized businesses full time.

BYRON B. CLAGHORN
Byron Claghorn is Director of Corporate Development for Point North Consulting.  In this role he is able to leverage his broad experience to both develop and support the various Point North Consulting practices and our service offerings.  He has had a long and varied computer science, engineering R&D and consulting career with Burroughs and Unisys Corporation, Vice President of Engineering and Manufacturing for Microcard Technologies and as an Air Force data-automation officer.

Byron is able to draw upon his extensive experience as an executive, program/project manager and project leader as well as hands-on technical roles as product manager, software developer, author, business analyst plus business process consultant for manual and electronic document management & workflow initiatives to address internal and our client’s needs.   Much of his career has been focused upon the development of software products and application development tools, client-specific integration of document imaging technology with existing computerized applications, databases and host systems.

MARTIN LEVESQUE
Martin Levesque is Director of Business Process Improvement for Point North Consulting. Martin leads with a special focus on delivering an exceptional client experience by ensuring that his customers’ expectations are always exceeded. His primary focus over the last five years has been in developing automated business process solutions that take advantage of current Enterprise Content Management and Business Process optimization technologies and techniques. 
Martin has demonstrated having a diversified and comprehensive knowledge in developing his PNC consulting practice as well as strengths in process implementation, problem solving, and developing cost saving strategies for his clients. His experience has granted him the technical expertise and extensive hands-on leadership approach to develop and implement large-scale projects that are required in this industry. Martin delivers a high quality personal approach, with the “attitude” that pulls a team together.
Martin was educated at the University of South Florida, studying Decision Information Sciences and Business Administration where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in 2000.
